Project Update

On Wednesday, May 4, 2011 Monterey Peninsula Airport District (MPAD) Board of Directors will take action on the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the Runway Safety Area (RSA) Improvements for Monterey Peninsula Airport.  Coffman Associates, the lead consultants for the safety project, will provide a presentation on project and process, including the Final  EIR prepared in accordance with state California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations.  After reviewing the contents of the final EIR, the Board is expected to move forward with the safety improvements which includes certifying the final EIR.
